Shed Shout Out! - November 2026

2026 has proved to be quite a tumultuous year for us and it looks like next year will be just as exciting!

As ever, our security depends on planning issues way beyond our control and, perhaps inevitably, timescales seem to have slipped.  It’s now clear that we will be operating in Station Road until well into the New Year.  It’s all a bit volatile but the fact that we’ve already completed a lot of tidying, clearing and packing means we will be ready when things do start to fall into place.  We still have a space on the new Winslow employment site in view and the support and goodwill we have received from our community and our community leaders has been truly heartening.

In the meantime, we’re back to (nearly) business as usual in Station Road.  Sufficient tools and machines have been unpacked so just in time to make new stock for our stall at the Town Christmas Fair on Thursday 26th.  If there’s something you would like to see on our stall then let us know, we’re always keen for new ideas.  We’ve also been able to rescue a few community projects that had to be mothballed. Having to disappoint people while we were packing-up was very regrettable so it will great to end the year with some happy customers!

Most importantly, the heating still works and there are plenty of comfy chairs for all-important tea-breaks so if you’ve got some time on your hands then pop-in.  We are, very much, still here!
