Who are 'UK Men in Sheds'
'Men in Sheds' is a network of local 'Sheds' where men can meet up to undertake hobbies in the company of like-minded people. The original idea was started in Australia in 1996 - there are now over 1130 'Sheds' in the UK alone and, of course, the best one is here in Winslow! We are lucky to be able to share experiences and resources with existing 'Sheds' in nearby Buckingham, Milton Keynes and Bletchley so we are in good company.

We are a community based project in Winslow, Buckinghamshire.
Winslow ​Shed time is always a mixture of chat, refreshment and chipping away at a project and all three are important - but maybe people get the wrong idea sometimes? When we were asked, recently, if we could make a new garden gate, our potential customer admitted to being hesitant to ask us for fear of interupting our tea breaks. We grinned and thought ‘Bloomin’ cheek!’ but, of course, the remark was kindly-meant so we started measuring-up and completed the task (between coffee breaks!)
